Jio 4G Voice Call App is one of the best applications available, making the user use the VoLTE feature on the non-VoLTE mobiles. Reliance Jio started in 2016 with the latest 4G only network, enabling users to make a voice call over LTE. But unfortunately, most of the handsets available at that time in the market could not support that feature. So the company developed an application that makes the customers make the call using mobile data like regular calls to overcome this issue.
Also please note that the Jio 4G Voice Call is now rebranded as Jio Call. Soin this article we are mentioning the application with the old name itself. So, both Jio 4G voice call and the Jio Call are the same apps, only change in the name.
Jio 4G Voice Call App
Many users are still using this service since their handset is not compatible with VoLTE service. However, Jio4GVoice recently caused some connectivity issues for some users. Many complain that, even if the mobile data is turned on and it is working, the Jio4GVoice application is not connecting to the network, and they cannot make and receive calls. This is one of the main issues the users are facing with the Jio network other than the call forwarding issue to BSNL Number etc.
As a solution, some are trying to do some troubleshooting, such as turning on and off the Airplane mode, turning on the GPS, etc., but none of the options is working. But, don’t worry, recently we figured out the problem, and now we can fix this issue.
From our research, we found that the issue is because of the recent update of the application. From the play store, we are getting the latest version of the application (Version 5.1.1). Unfortunately, the latest update was unstable for some devices and since it turns offline frequently. Each time it goes offline, you have to reinstall the application and configure it again to make it work. Furthermore, it will go offline after a few hours.
Solution to Fix, Not Connecting Issue on Jio 4G Voice Call App
The solution is straightforward.
Step 1: Uninstall the Jio 4G Voice for your device.
Step 2: Download the old stable version (Version 5.0.3) from external sources such as APKMirror.com (We tested the version and its working fine)
Step 3: Install the APK file on your mobile. If you don’t know how to install APK file, then please check how can it be done.
Step 4: Configure the application as like before.
Step 5: Done, enjoy the VoLTE service on your mobile without any issue.
By the above steps, you can fix the offline issue of your Jio 4G Voice call app.
But while installing the older version Jio is redirecting automatically to new version a d forcing users to install new version.
