The most awaited dark mode feature of WhatsApp is finally going to be released and some of its users have experienced it already on their devices. WhatsApp dark mode is basically a new design for the famous messaging app, which is going to change its palette of light green for shades of teal, black, and midnight blue. It will never replace the original look completely, but you can use it as an option if you are willing to use it in the future for sure.
There are many good reasons why you should try it. First, you are going to find dark backgrounds very easier to look without any hassle for sure. Secondly, you should note that darker screens will consume less power so that your mobile battery lasts for a longer period of time. The dark mode feature will surely help in reducing potential eye strain. It will make phone usage more comfortable at night or low lit environments. The WhatsApp dark mode will activate automatically on your devices when you switch on your device power-saving mode.
Auto Delete messages
Another feature of WhatsApp rolling out very soon is Auto Delete messages. With the help of this new feature, you can send a self-destructing message to your friends that delete itself in a very short period of time. This feature is only available in the beta version of WhatsApp for now and you can use this feature right now. By using the Auto-Delete option, the entire message will be removed automatically and there will be no history or tracks available in the chat about the deleted messages.
I have personally found both of these features very helpful and useful for the users. Now, you do not have to worry about your old messages anymore as the Auto delete option will clear all the long messages easily without any issues. You should understand that there is no timeline for when these two features will be available to the end-user, but it is going to release very soon on your phone.
