VoWiFi or WiFi Calling is one of the latest technology now being used by the major telecom providers in the World. In India, the service is being widely used by the two main players in the market, Jio an Airtel.
Both providers introduced the service at almost the same time; however, the support for the handset is more in the case of Jio. The device list for Airtel is still limited, and the addition is still at slow speed.
WiFi Calling or VoWiFi
WiFi Calling or VoWiFi is a feature that available in the latest handset, which helps users to make and receive calls using any WiFi Network without any network signal. This feature is handy in the area where the cellular signal is very weak and has excellent WiFi connectivity. Here the calls are routed through the WiFi network rather than Cellular Network.
The benefit of WiFi Calling
The main benefit of the service is the connectivity. It requires no cellular network, and the calls can be made via any WiFi network.
It will be useful in the place where the cellular network is very less, especially inside a building, etc.
The connection time to establish a call is speedy.
The call quality is excellent as if you may not experience any issue if you have a good and stable WiFi connection.

The list mentioned above the official list from the company, however, we noticed that some other device is also supporting WiFi Calling. You can check the same on your device also. Head on to the Network settings on your handset and check whether WiFi calling is listed under your SIM configuration. The same can be checked from your dialer too. Goto the call setting and click on the calling account and check whether the option is available under the selected SIM card.
