Doordarshan is planning to introduce a new system that will let people to watch Tv Channels and Radio channels on their Smartphones without using an Internet or a cable connection.
The project was on going and the Public broadcaster Prasar Bharati is in discussion with Samsung, Apple, HCL, Microsoft for making a specially designed dongle that will help users to watch the TV channels on their smartphone without the use of internet. The bad thing in this is that, the existing smartphones will not be compatible with the new Technology.
