At the India AI Impact Summit held in New Delhi in February 2026, Microsoft announced a nationwide initiative that could reshape how artificial intelligence is taught in Indian classrooms. The timing is deliberate. Under the National Education Policy 2020, Artificial Intelligence and Computational Thinking are being integrated into the curriculum from Grade 3 starting the 2026–27 academic session.
