How to Find Call Settings on Android 6 Marshmallow Phones

Android 6.0 Marshmallow was genuinely one of the better Android releases — packed with useful features and a cleaner experience overall. But like most major updates, it came with a few quirks, mostly because of how device manufacturers layered their own customizations on top of it.

One change that caught a lot of people off guard was what happened to the Call Settings option. In older Android versions, you could find it right inside the main Settings menu — simple, logical, easy. With Marshmallow, Google (or the manufacturer) buried it inside the Call Log section instead. Not exactly an obvious move, and it left a lot of users scratching their heads.

Step 1: Open your Call Logs or Dialer app. Tap the three-dot menu icon at the top right corner.
