HMD Global has slashed prices on some of its smartphones in India. Entry-level Nokia phones price cuts between Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 1,500. The Nokia 3.1 variant with 3GB RAM/32GB storage will now available at Rs. 10,999 instead of Rs. 11,999(old price) and the Nokia 5.1 variant with 3GB RAM/32GB storage will now available at Rs. 12,999 instead of its old price Rs. 14,499. Next, the Nokia 6.1 with 3GB/32GB variant will now retail at Rs. 13,499 while the 4GB/64GB variant will retail at Rs. 16,499 with price cuts of Rs. 1,500 and Rs. 1,000 respectively.
Finally, we have the Nokia 8 Sirocco which will now retail at Rs. 39,999 instead of its launch price Rs. 49,999 with a big price cut of Rs. 13,000. The smartphone supports single-SIM that accepts Nano sim card and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. It features a 5.5-inch QHD pOLED display with curves at the sides ,a resolution of 1440*2560 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9 and is covered by 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Nokia 8 Sirocco is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
