Elets Knowledge Exchange Awards 2015 in Goa has awarded Kerala Police’s new Application iSafe for the best use of Mobile Technology. The application created by US Technologies was made available in Trivandrum last March and now it made available to other part also.
The app will helps the users to maintain a direct contact with police during emergencies. With the push of a button on the phone, users get real-time police assistance while in danger or in a situation that requires immediate help. Th police will receive an alert, along with information on the user’s location, the subscriber ID, and the mobile IMEI number. With the information police can dispatch help via the nearest police control room (PCR) vehicle.
