Google AdWords Now Becomes Google Ads – The New Branding From July 24th

Google AdWords now becomes Google Ads. Google’s Ads platform management is now re-branding to its new name and logo. In the beginning google started its ads platform with only search engine based keyword targeting ad network and hence the name given as AdWords. But when time passed, the platform expanded to wide categories including words, links, display ads etc and it all available in all google Platform too.

Now the company is integrating all the ads into a single platform and re-branding it to make more effective and easily understandable to its users. From July 24th onwards Google AdWords will be re-branded to Google Ads and it will automatically reflected in all the platform with new name and logo.

Google already informed all its users about the change and it says as follows

“Starting July 24, 2018, you will begin to see the new Google Ads brand—including the new name and logo—reflected in the product interface, Help Center, billing documents, and more. The URL you use to access your account will be changing from adwords.google.com to ads.google.com, and the Help Center will change from support.google.com/adwords to support.google.com/google-ads.

Changes to the Google Ads branding will not impact your campaign performance, navigation, or reporting.”
