Gmail achived 1 Billion active monthly users milestone last month. The company released the figures in a press conference last day. It is the first time gmail achives this record. It is reported that the Gmail’s updated mobile app is behind this great achievement. After the release of Gmail as beta in 2014, google used to update the Gmail each year. And Finally in 2015, Google updated its Gmail Mobile application with Android Lollipop’s material design. It helped Gmail to attract massive users to their services and thus made the opponents such as Microsoft outlook and Yahoo Mail far behind.
