Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 3 in India, This was their first launch of the handset outside of China. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 650 SoC, and the smartphone will be available in Dark Grey, Champagne Gold, and Silver colours. As a promotion Users will get a 2-month free subscription to Hungama. The handset comes in 2GB RAM variant and 3GB variant with a price of Rs. 9,999 and Rs. 11,999 respectively.

The smartphone features a full mettalic body and also comes with a fingerprint scanner at the back. The handset can store up to 5 fingerprint profiles. The smartphone features a 5.5 Inch full-HD IPS display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. The handset is powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor (four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.4GHz and two Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 1.8GHz), which is one of its main heighlight.
The Redmi Note 3 will be available in two RAM and storage versions – one includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage with a price of Rs. 9,999, and other 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage at a price of Rs. 11,999. It will be available from Wednesday via Mi.com, and Amazon.in. It will go on sale on Flipkart and Snapdeal at a later date.

The smartphone runs MIUI 7 based on Android Lollipop and supports dual 4G SIM cards (Micro + Nano). The handset also packed with a 4050mAh battery with fast charging support that can charge up to 50 percent in 1 hour. In case of camera, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 sports a 16 MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and two-tone flash and also houses a 5 MP front facing camera. In case of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE (compatible with Indian LTE bands), VoLTE, Bluetooth, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Glonass, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB.
