Along with the launch of Mi A2, Xiaomi launched another smartphone, the Mi A2 Lite in the global market. The Mi A2 lite as like the name says, its not actually related to the Mi A2 handset. The Mi A2 Lite is the global version of the RedMi 6 Pro which is available in China. The new handset is a budget oriented version of the Mi A2, however the mobile is not launched in India and as per the company, it will not be available in India in the near furure. After the official launch in the July, the handset is available in Online and retail shops in UAE, Bangladesh, US and other countries.
The price of the handset is around Rs. 13,500/- when converted to Indian Rupee and in this price range, it would be a best option for the Indian Market. Lets see the specification of the handset. The Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite is available in Black, Blue and Golden colour options.

The main highlight of the handset is its 5.84-inch Full HD+ Notch display that comes with a resolution of 1080×2280 and with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and 432 PPI. The mobile comes with dual-nano SIM support with a dedicated micro-SD card slot, so the company decided not to include the hybrid option for this handset. The Mi A2 Lite runs on Android 8.1 Oreo which comes under Android One Program. You will be getting monthly security updates and OS updates for a minimum of 3 years.
The handset is powered by 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB of RAM. The phone also comes with an inbuilt storage of 64GB which can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro-SD card.
As per the camera options, the Mi A2 Lite features a dual camera setup on the back side with a 12-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel secondary camera with an LED Flash. On the front side, the Mi A2 Lite is provided with a 5-megapixel camera. For connectivity, the Mi A2 Lite includes 3G and 4G VoLTE,Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n,GPS,Bluetooth,Infrared,USB OTG and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Onboard sensors include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, Compass/Magnetometer, Proximity sensor and Gyroscope. The handset is packed with a 4000mAh non removable battery.
