Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has launched a high end smartphone, Xplay5 Elite. The new smartphone looks similar to Samsung Galaxy S6. The smartphone features a Dual SIM capability and comes in curved 5.43 Inch display with QHD Super Amoled display with and a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels. The smartphone is made of metal with Gorilla Glass 4 coating body. The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the Funtouch OS 2.6 skin on top. The company also launched 4GB version also named Vivo Xplay5

It is powered by Qualcomm quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC clocked at 2.15GHz, with 6GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. The Vivo Xplay5 Elite features a 16MP rear camera powered by Sony IMX298 sensor, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), 6P Lens, f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash. An 8MP front-facing camera is also given for taking selfie. The Xplay5 Elite supports 4G LTE, 3G, 2G networks, Hi-Fi 3.0 (2*ES9028+OPA1612), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, Micro-USB (with OTG), and is backed by a 3600mAh battery.

The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor placed at the backside. The smartphone also comes with a 128GB of internal memory which is non-expandable. The device comes with a bunch of sensors – gravity, ambient light, proximity, and gyroscope. Both handsets additionally have split-screen multitasking functionality.

The smartphone will cost approximately Rs. 44,300 and the availability outside china is not yet announced.
