Tecno Phantom 9 With 32-Megapixel Selfie Camera Launched At Rs.14,999

Tecno,a sub-brand of Hong Kong-based Transsion Holdings group has launched their new handset in India, the Tecno Phantom 9. The main highlights of the Tecno Phantom 9 includes a triple rear camera setup and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It also include dual selfie flash, 32-megapixel front camera, and a Dot Notch display. The price of Tecno Phantom 9 in India has been set at Rs.14,999. The smartphone will be available for purchase through Flipkart starting July 17. It comes with 6GB RAM and will be available in Lapland Aurora colour option.

With the Phantom 9, Tecno offers a “111” offer which provides the customers to a one-time screen replacement for six months, 100 days’ free replacement, and one-month extended warranty over the 12-month standard warranty.
As per specifications, the Tecno Phantom 9 supports dual-SIM,dual-VoLTE which accepts Nano sim card and runs HiOS 5.0 based on Android 9 Pie. It features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ AMOLED Dot Notch display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 600 nits of brightness and a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. It is powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM.

The Tecno Phantom 9 has a triple rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.85 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. The camera setup is backed by a proprietary Night algorithm 2.0 and a quad LED flash module.It can record 1080p videos as well. On the front, it supports a 32-megapixel AI camera along with an f/2.0, 79.4-degree lens.

For storage, the new mobile provides 128GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable upto 256GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also features AI HDR, AI Scene Detection, and Backlight portrait. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. The handset is powered by a 3,500mAh lithium-polymer battery.
