Sony launched its new smartphone in the Xperia series, the Sony Xperia L2 in the Indian market. The smartphone will be available at a price of Rs. 19,990. The main highlight of the handset is that, the mobile comes with an 8-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera. The handset will be available in Black and Gold colour variants.
The Sony Xperia L2 is actually a successor of the Xperia L1 which was launched last year. The Xperia L2 features a 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels along with Sony’s proprietary Image Enhance Technology and for protection, the display is provided with Corning Gorilla Glass. The handset supports dual-SIM and with accepts Nano SIM card on both slots. The mobile runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The Xperia L2 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and on the front side, the mobile comes with an 8-megapixel camera with a 120-degree wide angle lens that comes with an f/2.4 aperture. The handset is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor with 3GB of RAM. The handset comes with an internal memory of 32GB which can further expanded up to 256GB using microSD card. The smartphone is provided with a dedicated slot for memory card.
Coming to the connectivity options, the handset comes with 4G VoLTE, 3G and also includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and FM radio. A fingerprint sensor is also provided at the back side of the handset. The Xperia L2 is packed with a 3300mAh battery that is equipped with Qnovo Adaptive Charging and supports STAMINA mode and Battery Care to enhance the life of the battery pack by adjusting the charging current.
