Sony Xperia C5 Ultra With 13MP Camera and 2930mAh Battery Launched

Japanese company Sony has launched the a new smartphone, The Xperia C5 Ultra this week. According to the company, the handset will be available in select countries starting mid-August.

The smartphone will be available in Single and Dual-SIM variants. The smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and features a 6 Inch full-HD IPS display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. The smartphone is powered by Sony’s Mobile Bravia Engine 2 and also features a “near borderless” display. The Xperia C5 Ultra is powered by a 1.7GHz, 64-bit octa-core MediaTek (MT6752) processor with 2GB of RAM and ARM Mali760 GPU. The handset comes with an internal memory of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 200GB via microSD card.

The new smartphone is selfie focused as it targets the selfie lovers with a 13MP front and rear cameras. Both the front and rear cameras comes with LED flash modules and include Sony’s Exmor RS sensor. It also have some camera tools such as video stabiliser, auto scene recognition, 25mm wide-angle lens (rear) with an 80-degree field of view, 4x digital zoom, full-HD video recording, image stabiliser, geotagging, and red-eye reduction among others.

The smartphone doesn’t features water and dust protection as like in other Xperia smartphones. In case of connectivity options, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Glonass, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB. It is packed with a 2930mAh battery.
