Korean mobile manufacturer Samsung launched their new handset, the Samsung Galaxy J6+ along with Galaxy J4+ in the Indian market. The main highlight of the smartphone includes a 6-inch Infinity Display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. It also features Dolby Atmos audio tech and the company is touting Widevine L1 certification for HD video playback. It will be available in India at a price of Rs.15,990. The Samsung is going to start the sale via Samsung India`s retail outlets, Amazon, Flipkart and the Samsung Shop online stores from September 25. The handset will be available in Black, Blue and Red colour options.
On the specification side, the Samsung Galaxy J6+ runs Android 8.1 Oreo and is featured by a 6-inch HD+ Infinity Display with a resolution of 720*1480 pixels with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage.
The Samsung Galaxy J6+ has a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture.The front camera supports an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/1.9 aperture.
On the connectivity side, the Samsung Galaxy J6+ includes 4G VoLTE, single-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC, GPS, GLONASS and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Onboard sensors include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, geomagnetic sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The handset is powered by a 3,300mAh battery.
