Samsung has launched a new Galaxy smartphone in their J- Series called Galaxy J5 in China at a price of CNY 1,398. The new smartphone features a 5 Inch TFT display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The phone runs on Android 5.1 and supports dual SIM. The handsets will be available in Black, White, and Gold colours.
The smartphone is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC processor with 1.5GB of RAM. It is also packed with a 16GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card.
The phone features a 13MP of rear camera with autofocus and a 5MP of front facing secondary camera. In case of connectivity it supports 4G, 3G, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, Glonass and Micro-USB. The phone comes with a 2600mAh battery which is claimed to deliver 342 hours standby.
