Samsung launched the 2018 edition of their popular budget smartphone Galaxy J2 Pro. Initially the new 2018 edition of the mobile will be available in Vietnam market and will be soon released to the global market including India. The handset is already available in the retail shop there and as per the Vietnam market price and comparing to Indian market the phone will be available approximately at a price Rs. 9,000. The smartphone will be available in Black, Blue, and Gold colour variants.
Coming to the specification, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro features a 5-inch Super AMOLED qHD display with a resolution of 540×960 pixels where as the orginal Galaxy J2 Pro features a 720×1280 pixel resolution. Talking about the design of the handset, the new mobile features a metallic finish body structure. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM. In case of memory, the 2018 Galaxy J2 Pro comes with 16GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
The Galaxy J2 Pro 2018 features an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 5-megapixel front camera with an f/2.2 aperture provided with a flash too. The smartphone supports dual-SIM and which accept Micro SIM card on both slot. The smartphone runs on Samsung’s own UI which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
Coming to connectivity options, the mobile supports 4G LTE, 3G and also includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB 2.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone also supports sensors including accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity. The Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) paked with a 2600mAh battery which company claimed to deliver up to 18 hours of talk-time (3G WCDMA) and 14 hours of video playback time.
