Samsung Galaxy A8 With 16MP Camera and 3050mAh Battery Launched

Samsung launched its slimmest smartphone, the Galaxy A8 in China. The new smartphone is the successor of Samsung Galaxy A7. The smartphone will be available in Black, White, and Gold colour variants in China. The new phone will be available in Chinese market only now.

The smartphone features dual-SIM supports and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. One new thing in the phone is that, out of the two SIM slot, one of the slot will act also as microSD card slot, there is no seperate microSD card slot in the phone. Hence user has to decide whether they should use dual SIM with out microSD card or use single SIM with microSD. The Samsung Galaxy A8 features a 5.7 Inch full-HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. The smartphone is available in two storage, variants one with 16GB and other with 32GB inbuilt storage. The expandable memory is up to 128GB.

The smartphone features a 16MP autofocus rear camera with optical image stabilisation, f/1.9 aperture, a wide-angle lens (120 degrees) and LED flash and a 5MP front-facing secondary camera. In case of connectivity options, the smartphone supports 4G FDD LTE, TDD LTE with Band 40 , Bluetooth 4.1, dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, NFC, and USB 2.0.
