The Chinese mobile manufacturer Xiaomi has launched their latest smartphones, the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro after the Redmi Note 7 series. The main highlights of the Redmi Note 8 mobile is it features a gradient design, a slightly powerful processor, four rear cameras, slimmer bezels, audio improvements etc. The Redmi Note 8 Pro is Xiaomi’s first smartphone with a 64-megapixel primary camera.
The price of Redmi Note 8 is set at CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 10,000) for the base 4GB + 64GB model and its 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants price is set at CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs. 12,000) and CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs. 14,000), respectively and it will be available in Dream Blue, Meteorite Black, and White color options.
The price of Redmi Note 8 Pro is set at CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs. 14,000) for its base variant with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB models price is set at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 16,000) and CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 18,000), respectively and it will be available in Pearl White, Ice Emerald, and Electric Light Grey color options.
As per the specifications, Redmi Note 8 supports dual-SIM which accepts Nano sim card and runs on MIUI 10, based on Android 9 Pie. It features a 6.39-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels, 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Redmi Note 8 smartphone includes Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and back and provides a waterdrop-style notch up front. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor paired with 6GB of RAM.

Coming to the camera options, the Redmi Note 8 supports four rear cameras- a 48-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter, and two 2-megapixel cameras. On the front, it supports a 13-megapixel selfie camera. Like the Redmi Note 8, the Redmi Note 8 Pro also supports four rear cameras, but the setup is slightly different. It provides a 64-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter, and two 2-megapixel cameras. On the front, it supports a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
