Panasonic has launched the new version of their P55 smartphone, The P55 Nova in India at a price of Rs. 10,290. The smartphone will be available from the first week of July. The phone will be available in White, Gold and Black colours. The Panasonic P55 Novo features Tap Play, which allows users to wake up the smartphone using Gesture, no need to press the physical power button, also able to launch app via gesture.

The Panasonic P55 Nova supports dual SIM and it runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat. The phone features a 5.3 Inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The smartphone is powered by aa 1.4GHz octa-core processor with 1GB of RAM. The phone comes with an internal memory of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

The smartphone features a 13MP autofocus rear camera with triple-LED flash and a 5MP secondary front-facing camera with LED flash. In case of connectivity options the Panasonice P55 Novo includes 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, FM radio, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS. It is packed with a 2500mAh removable battery.
