Panasonic earlier launched a new smartphone named Eluga Ray 500 which was available via online store only. Now the mobile available to purchase via retail store at a price of Rs. 8,999. The headset will be available in 3 color variant, Marine Blue, Champagne Gold, and Mocha Gold. It is reported that initially it will be available in the leading retail outlet only. But soon available in other retail store also.
Talking about the specification, the Eluga Ray 500 comes with a dual sim support that accepts Nano SIM on both slots and features a 5 inch HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The screen is also 2.5D curved display. The mobile is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core Mediatek MTK6737 processor with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and the company is provided it with their own Arbo digital assistant.
Coming to the camera, the Eluga Ray 500 features a dual camera setup on the rear with a 13-megapixel rear sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor with dual LED flash. In the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera mainly for selfies. In case of memory, the mobile comes with an internal storage of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. A fingerprint sensor is added to the home button on the front of the phone.
Coming to connectivity options, the Panasonic Eluga Ray 500 supports 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India) and includes Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM. The smartphone also comes with sensors such as Proximity, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor. The handset is also packed with a 4000mAh battery.
