Oppo launched a new smartphone, The Mirror 5s in Taiwan last week. The smartphone was not listed officially, however company had informed the launch via Facebook Post. There is no news about the availability of smartphone in Taiwan and other global market. The smartphone will be available in White colour only. Oppo has already launched a budget smartphone named Joy 3.
The Oppo Mirror 5s supports dual-SIM (one Micro-SIM card and the other Nano-SIM) and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based company’s own Color OS 2.1. The smartphone features a 5 Inch HD TFT display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor with an Adreno 306 GPU, and 2GB of RAM. The Oppo Mirror 5s comes with an internal memory of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

It features an 8MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash and a 5MP front-facing secondary camera. In case of connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM radio. It is packed with a 2420mAh non-removable battery. The smartphone also having other features such as scene detection, smile shot, double exposure, Panaroma, geo-tagging HDR options. It also comes with sensors such as ambient light sensor, g-sensor, and magnetometer.
The handset is preloaded with Smart Remote Control app that the company claims is compatible with common household appliances. This feature was also available in Celkon Campus A35K Remote. The company also says that the handset supports gloved and wet touch input.
