The Chinese mobile manufacturer Oppo has launched their first smartphone in the K-series , the Oppo K1. The main highlight of the mobile is it comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Oppo K1 is available in two variants- 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM. It is a mid-range handset and will be available in Mocha Red and Van Gogh Blue colour options. The smartphone will be available at a price of CNY 1,599(Rs. 17,100) for the 4GB RAM/64GB inbuilt storage variant and CNY 1,799(Rs. 19,300) for the 6GB RAM/64GB inbuilt storage variant. The company has already started the pre-orders for the Oppo K1 in Chinese market and is going to start the sale from October 19.

Coming to the specifications, the Oppo K1 runs ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The handset features a 6.4-inch full-HD+display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1080*2340 pixels. The mobile comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and has a 3D glass back. The new mobile is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor clocked upto 2.2GHz coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM.
The Oppo K1 supports a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, it supports a 25-megapixel selfie camera. For storage, the Oppo K1 provides 64GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable upto 256GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/A-GPS and GLONASS. The Oppo K1 is powered by a 3,600mAh battery.
