Nokia 6 – The First Smartphone From Nokia in 2018 Launched

After all the rumors and leaks, Nokia finally released the new Android Mobile, The Nokia 6 2018 edition and this is the first smartphone from the company in 2018. Last year HMD Global introduced the Nokia 6 in Chinese market and the new Nokia is the updated variant. The New Nokia 6 was launched in China and it will start its sale from January 10th. It is expected to arrive the mobile to India soon after China. The Nokia 6 will be available in Black and Silver colour variants.

The new smartphone will be available in 32GB and 64GB memory options. The 32GB variant will be available at a price of CNY 1,499 which is approximately Rs. 14,600, whereas the 64GB variant will be available at CNY 1,699 which is approximately Rs. 16,600. Compared to the old Nokia 6, the new Nokia 6 is provided with fingerprint scanner on the back side were as the old Nokia holds it on the Front. Nokia also removed the capacitive navigation Keys on the front in the New Nokia 6, so the navigation menu is included inside the Screen itself. The new Nokia 6 has a metal unibody build that is made of 6000 series aluminium.

Talking about the specification of the mobile, the Nokia 6 supports hybrid dual SIM and both slot accepts Nano SIM Cards. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and expected to receive an update to Android 8.0 Oreo since there is no custom UI used in Nokia Phones. All the Nokia mobiles are running on Stock Android. So they are getting the latest Android updates faster than any other smartphones.

Coming to display, the Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch IPS full HD display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by an 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The Nokia 6 comes with 32GB and 64GB internal storage which can be upgraded up to 128GB via microSD card.

Coming to camera, the Nokia 6 mobile is given a 16-megapixel rear camera sensor with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF lens that has f/2.0 aperture. On the front side, the handset features an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.0, 84-degree wide-angle lens. The smartphone also supports the company’s proprietary Dual-Sight technology that allows you to capture simultaneous shots from the rear and front camera sensors to create a Bothie.

In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, 3G and includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm audio jack. The phone also have FM radio connectivity option. The smartphone supports fast charging technology and is packed with a 3000mAh battery
