Chinese smartphone manufacturar Itel launched a new smartphone in the Indian market, the Itel A44 Power. The budget android phone which runs on Android 8.1 Oreo which comes in Android Go Edition. The smartphone will be available at a price of Rs. 5,999 and the smartphone comes in Aqua Blue, Champagne Gold, and Deep Grey colour variants.
The Itel A44 Power features a 5.45-inch FWVGA+ ‘Full Screen’ Display with a resolution of 480×960 pixels with an aspect ratio of 18:9, also with face unlock feature. The face unlock feature in a budget smartphone is one of the main highlight here. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 oreo which comes under Android Go Edition. The new mobile also comes with dual SIM support.
Coming to the camera feature, the smartphone comes with a dual camera setup with a 5-megapixel primary camera along with a 0.3-megapixel VGA secondary camera with a flash module. On the front side, for selfies, the smartphone bears a 2-megapixel camera that also comes with a flash. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM. Coming to the memory option, the smartphone features an 8GB of inbuilt storage and that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card that with a dedicated slot.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE and ViLTE. The smartphone also packed with a 4,000mAh battery that can deliver up to 3 days of battery backup, the company boasts, and also supports ‘OTG Power Bank’ functionality that gives the phone the ability to charge other phones. The company is also offering a 100-day replacement warranty for the new mobile.
