Intex has launched a new smartphone to the aqua series, the Aqua Y2 which will be available at a price of Rs. 4,490. The smartphone will be available in Black, Blue, and White colours.

The handset supports dual-SIM and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It features a 4 Inch WVGA IPS display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreatrum (SC7731) processor with 512MB of RAM. The smartphone comes with an internal memory of 4GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. In case of connectivity options it includes 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options.

The smartphone features a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP secondary front-facing camera. It comes with camera features such as scene detection, face recognition, Panorama, geo tagging, best shot, Smile shot, and HDR options. It also includes sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The Aqua Y2 Power smartphone is packed with a 2900mAh which is claimed to deliver up to 20 hours of talk time, and up to 500 hours of standby time.
