Chinese Brand Huawei launhced their second quad-camera under the Honor Sub Brand, the Honor 9 Lite in India. The mobile was launched yesterday and will available for sale exclusively via Flipkart on January 21. As the highlighted quad-camera, the phone features dual camera on front as well as back. The smartphone also runs on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo with Company’s own EMUI 8.0 UI. The Honor 9 Lite will be available in in two storage variants and the price of the variants will be Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant and Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB variant. As a part of the launch offers, Honor is offering 10 percent instant discount if you buy the phone using Citibank credit or debit cards.

Both variants will go available for the flash sale in via Flipkart sale exclusively via Flipkart and thhe first flash sale will be at 12am IST (midnight) on January 21 and the second one is at 12pm (noon) IST the same day. Even though both sale is on the same day, Flipkart also doing another two sales on the following days too. The next sale will be on 22th January at 12PM IST (noon) and the other one on 23rd at the same time. Both variants will available in Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black, and Glacial Grey colour variants.

Talking about the specifications, the Honor 9 Lite feature a 5.65-inch full-HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and pixel density of 428ppi and also with a 2.5D curved display. The Honor 9 Lite supports hybrid dual-SIM which accepts Nano SIM in both slots. As like we mentioned above, the smartphone runs on company’s own custom EMUI 8.0 UI which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The phone is powered by the 1.7GHz octa-core Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC processor with 3GB/ 4GB of RAM.

In case of camera, as like highlighted, the Honor 9 Lite features quad-camera setup, which means total 4 cameras, 2 on the rear side and 2 on the front. Both rear and front have given same camera setup in this handset. One is a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. Even though the camera configuration is same, LED Flash and PDAF autofocus is only available in the rear camera. The smartphone is available in 32GB internal storage and 64GB internal storage. In both variants, it
can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

Coming to the connectivity options, the smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, 3G and also includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG support, and a 3.5mm audio jack. In case of sensors, this phone comes with varios sensors which includes accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer (digital compass), and proximity sensor. The Honor 9 Lite is packed with a 3000mAh battery which the company claims it can provide a talk time of up to 20 hours on 3G and a standby time of up to 24 days. Also as per the company, the handset can be charged completely in approximately 2 hours 20 minutes.
