Gionee has launched their new Pioneer-series smartphone, the Pioneer P2M at a price of Rs. 6,999. The new smartphone will be available via online and retailers shops in India. The new handset will be available in Black, Golden, and White colours.
The Pioneer P2M smartphone supports dual-SIM and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with company’s own Amigo 3.0 UI. The smartphone features a 4 Inch WVGA IPS display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. It also comes with an internal memory of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

The smartphone features a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP secondary front-facing camera. The rear camera having some features such as, scene detection, face recognition, Panorama, geo-tagging, Best shot, Smile shot, and HDR options. In case of connectivity, the Pioneer P2M supports 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. The smartphone is packed with a 3000mAh battery, which is claimed to deliver up to 15 hours of talk time, and up to 300 hours of standby time on 3G networks. The smartphone also having sensors such as proximity sensor, an accelerometer, a magnetometer, and an ambient light sensor.
