After a long wait, here is good news for Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 users. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 users start receiving the stable version of Android 10. The update not widely rolled out. But just started in phases, and for some users, it is already there.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 was one of the best selling handsets in 2018, and it got its wide popularity due to the low pricing and the best configuration. Apart from this, Asus introduced the handset in Stock Android, which is almost the same as the Android One Program. Max Pro M1 users also got a timely update too. Initially, the handset was released with Android 8.1 Oreo and later upgraded to Android 9 Pie.

Once the Android 10 revealed in 2019, Max Pro M1 users are eagerly waiting for the update hoping the phone will get the update since it is a stock Android phone. As expected, the company released the beta version of Android 10 in January 2020.

The launch of the beta version of Android 10 for Max Pro M1 was so early when it compared to some of the Android One devices from Xiaomi like Mi A2, Mi A2 Lite, etc. But the beta version is some sort of failure. Those who downloaded the beta version and upgraded the device from Android 9 to Android 10 was disappointed.

The upgrade doesn’t finish perfectly as a large number of users ended up in boot loop and password prompt or patter error etc. It forced users to do a hard reset to use the device. Apart from this, users faced a lot of other functional and cosmetic issues too.

Finally, after almost four months of beta testing, Asus is now releasing the stable version of Android 10 for all the Max Pro M1 users. The company not officially announced that the beta testing is over, and the stable version will hit the devices soon.

You can check whether the update is available for you. Head on to the settings, then in the System check for the update. If the update is open, you can download and update them. If the update is not available for you, just wait for few more days so that you will get the OTA update.

Apart from this, Asus released a security update in the last week, which contains the April Security patch. If your device is still in an older security patch, then update your device with the latest update so that you will get notified with the Android 10 update.

Note: You can manually update your Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 using the recovery file now. But we are not recommending that now. Since so many users faced issues with the beta update before, we recommend you to wait for the official stable version now.
