Gionee has launched a new Pioneer-series smartphone, the P5W smartphone. The smartphone is now available in the indian market at a price of Rs. 6,499. The new P5W smartphone comes in Black, Blue, Red, White, and Yellow colour variants.

The P5W runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based company’s own Amigo 3.1 Immersive UI. The smartphone supports dual-SIM dual standby and features a 5-inch HD IPS Oncell display with resolution of 720×1280 pixel. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6735 SoC, with 1GB RAM. The Gionee P5W packs 16GB of in-built storage and supports expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card. It features a 5MP autofocus rear camera with LED-flash, and a 2MP front camera. It measures 143.3x72x8.9mm and weighs 153 grams.

The Gionee P5W is packed with by a 2000mAh battery and includes connectivity options such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Micro-USB 2.0. The P5W’s audio is powered by DTS 3D surround sound tech and also sports a face unlock feature. It includes a proximity sensor, accelerometer, digital compass, and an ambient light sensor.
